The Spring 2026 Festival will be held on Saturday, May 9, and Sunday, May 10. We are in the process of updating Festival documents for vendors. We will be publishing those updated documents in the coming weeks. We have just added the snail-mail version of the vendor application on the Vendors page. Until then you will see "Under Construction" placeholders.
Getting to the Festival: The following is the latest information that we have. It could change right up to the opening of the festival. Some roads are open to Lake Lure:
On a sad note, given the history of past festivals, the scammers will be out in force. If you see a Facebook post that says, in effect, that they are the only way to get a vendor spot and to contact them through Facebook, it is almost certainly a scam. We announce things on Facebook (at https://www.facebook.com/people/Lake-Lure-Arts-and-Crafts-Festivals/100057332063536/). We answer questions on Facebook. Nothing else. We love our vendors and do not want them to get scammed. Please be careful out there.
The Festival raises funds to support Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach. The Outreach is a food pantry (and more). It is dedicated to eliminating hunger in our community and helping the needy. Please take a look at our website for more information.

While the proceeds from the Festival go to support Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach, the Festival is run by the Lake Lure Arts & Crafts Festival Coordinating Committee. The folks who answer the phone and respond to email inquiries at Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach do not have any information about the Festival. Please do not waste their or your time by asking questions there. Please do ask your questions via the email address LakeLureArtsAndCraftsFestivals@gmail.com.

Next Festival: May 9, 2026 (from 10 am to 5 pm) and Sunday, May 10, 2026 (from 10 am to 4 pm)
